I’ve been baking and making little things at the moment which has been super rewarding! Because of limited energy, it’s sometimes hard to find rewarding things that are doable, but hopefully, I can continue to create things at my own pace and have fun doing it:)

I'm not going to write a whole lot in this post but here are the things I wanted to show off:

Brownie!! 

I used the Tescos free-from packet mix- gluten and dairy free. As my energy is very limited, and I've not done too much baking, I'm finding it best to stick to a packet mix like this to start learning.

 Next time I'll try and replace the eggs with a vegan alternative. I popped the sprinkles into a little pot of icing sugar to attach to the brownie.

 I've never really baked and am not particularly amazing at it but I'm learning and finding it really rewarding.<33

Starting to dabble with making things with themes of sickness and disability within them. It’s not something I ever wanted to rush into doing but it's slowly feeling more comfortable.

"Naan Breads"

Gluten-free alternatives rarely come close to the real thing, they're also extremely expensive. Something I am finding though is making free from alternatives from scratch seem to be coming out tasty!

No images but here's the recipe.  I also made a pizza base with this recipe, worked really well but my first try was not the most visually appealing.

It's almost time to start tending to the garden more, gardener's world has just started and I'm excited to follow along with Monty.

I really cba and I'm also v v xxxtra tired atm💤🛌  Right now it's time for grounding and setting realistic goals. Kind of love doing these all over the place blog posts. Sober Girl:

I’ve tried the alcohol-free replacements before and they’re so expensive and taste bad, I’d rather start making fun fruity drinks that look cute and are a nice experience to make. This way I get something out of it! Any Mocktail recipes are welcome.

Instagram feels gross: Not expanding 

OK. Why does it feel so weird posting on Instagram these days? Idk maybe I'm getting old (25 next month😛).

Screenshots in general are out- it's fine having this many screenshots when ur addicted to the internet and have a full-time finsta to run, but sadly that era is over, and it's time to try and spring clean.

It's October and I'm not settled.

I'm in bed with a big nasty cold atm and I've started to get obsessed with vogue runway again. I've been using Pinterest a lot recently but I've started to find it annoying.  I like digging for ideas, Insop, and just general shit that excites me, but I don't necessarily like it being so curated. Kind of living in fear of pinteresting every aspect of my life.

 I haven't made anything creative in a while bc of moving and other personal circumstances, its hard because I can struggle with identity a lot when I don't have some kind of creative outlet. Flicking through vogue runway has been a nice intro back into even having creative thoughts that might go somewhere again. Here's a little mood board /thoughts for 1st week of cold & flu.

"River island bow" that's all it took to find hundreds of matches via vinted.  Depop makes me weep, the thought of someone paying £84 for a river island top (NOT pictured here) this one was sold for £3. Will someone pay it just to take the easy rout into another micro trend.
